Prof. (Dr.) Jyothi P. V. is a renowned botanist specializing in Pteridology and Aquatic Botany who has also served as the former Head of the Botany Department at MES Ponnani College. Dr. Jyothi’s impressive academic record includes an authored book and 16 publications underscoring her scholarly impact. She has presented five papers at international seminars showcasing her expertise and dedication to research. Her professional journey includes tenures at MES KVM College, Valancherry and MES Asmabi College,P. Vemballur enriching these institutions with her knowledge and experience. Notably, she served as the Chairman (UG) Board of Studies in Botany at Calicut University. Dr. Jyothi’s remarkable work in the study and conservation of the Ponnani Kole wetlands highlights her commitment to environmental preservation. Her dedication to botanical sciences and significant contributions to research and education have earned her an esteemed position in the academic community..

Frequent Questions
Candidates who have completed Class 12 or equivalent exam from a
recognized board or an equivalent approved diploma (10+3) are eligible
for Calicut University UG admissions.
Candidates must register on the official website of Calicut
University. Once registered can now fill out the online application form
online and pay the application fee. For the UG courses, it is mandated to
register through the Centralised Admission Process (CAP).
1. Plus Two marklist or certificate recognized as equivalent there to (original)
2. Transfer certificate (original)
3. Self attested copy of the first page of S.S.L.C book.
4. Self attested 2 copies of Plus Two Marklist.
5. Original Community certificate (ln the case of those who seek admission on the
basis of relaxation in minimum marks eligible for O.B.C/O.E.C candidates).
